New Jobs In The Public Defender’s Office

The Montgomery County’s Public Defender’s Office has the help wanted sign out for two newly-created jobs. According to the Recorder lawmakers approved a resolution to amend the 2019 operating budget to create an full-time assistant public defender and a full-time clerk typist. Salaries are being covered from a grant through the New York State Office of Indigent Legal Services that is expected to last for three years. The interview process is said to begin soon.
